Emmy took a deep breath and smiled when she felt Sirius's hand on her arm. She looked to him with a smile, in thanks. She was glad when another boy came in, taking Pepper's attention off of Emmy. She sighed and downed her last shot as Sirius talked. She wished they would hurry and get back already... She shook her head lightly before she bit her lip, scooting out of the booth. "I'll be right back Sirry..." She said lightly as she went to the bar, getting herself a tray of firewhisky shots.
She went back to the booth as the boy was talking to Pepper. She had walked by Tyler and Kaylee, she didn't know the girl personally, but Sirius had told Emmy about her. "Oh. Sirry. I got a house. By myself. Well...Felix and I anyways. You know I can't go anywhere without my brother..." She said lightly. [/blockquote]

Battre took a moment to put his book down and register on what was going on, but quickly came to realising that Kaylee was standing there. "It's okay. I just got here. Ran into Sirius and a couple of girls at the Leaky Cauldren though." she said with a smirk on her face. She had come to realise that this Sirius, was alot like the rumors of her father that floated around from back in his school days. Always the little charmer for the ladies. She found it funny, but come to think of it, the name quite suited him.
She watched the stack of books almost topple over after Battre summoned the top one to him. She waved her wand at it without much notice from anyone at all, and it stayed straight up, and pulled itself back into shape so it would not fall later. "That's another new book." Kaylee said, looking at the title, and the authors name. The author was only a couple years ahead of her when she had been in school before. It was so bazaar to see people having aged years and her to still be seventeen years of age.
Then Battre had a question for her, and one until today, she had been pondering herself. What would happen with the school year to come. Technically, she was nearing Fourty One or so, as Harry himself was. But seeing as she had the looks and age of a seventeen year old due to the backfire on her spell, she did not know what to do. "Harry and I discussed this for a long time, but we ended up deciding I should go to Hogwarts with you and Sirius. Finnish my last year, which I wouldn't have done if I went back to the battle any time soon. He's going to talk to the Headmaster, who ever that is right now, and explain stuff... It's going to be really weird though." she said with the trace of an almost nervous smile. And if you knew Kaylee, you knew she never showed nerves.
Pepper seemed suddenly distracted as a Slytherin boy came up and talked with her. His name was unimportant as Sirius could not remember what it was. Of course, he was a Slytherin, there was no need for Sirius to remember the boy's name unless he had confronted him, or been in a Quidditch Match with him. Sirius shrugged it off, and drained the last sips of his drink and put the empty glass down regretfully.
Suddenly, he was surprised as Emmy got up and started to walk away. She was off to get more shots, and he was glad, seeing as he just ran out, and there was not too much likley hood that she would drink the entire tray of shots herself. Then again, people surprised him all the time, but he was sure she wouldn't mind sharing with him. Often she didn't.
When she returned he made room for her again, and she set the tray down on the table. As she sat down, she mentioned having her own home. Well, her and her brother's home, but that was as far away from no adults as Sirius needed to hear when the thought of a last day of summer party came to his mind. "That would be a great place for the end of summer party." Sirius told her plainly, then moving his hand near a shot glass. "May I?" he asked, starting to grip one, but not picking it up incase she said other wise.
"But yeah, that would be an excellent place to party. No parents is always better." he said with a smirk. Yes, Sirius Potter really was pretty much the rebel of his always good family. Not many of them were alcoholic's that used to smoke occasionally. Of course, he did follow in the footsteps of a trouble maker that can never seem to abide by school rules, because of their lack of seeing why it mattered when generations before him had done the same. Oh well. Now Sirius waited for Em to reply, and the Slytherin boy to go away, before talking with Pepper again. Knowing his temper, he would say something or the boy would, and it would not go well from there. Then again, in the past year or so, he had gotten much better at controlling that temper of his...

"Well, I wouldn't say friends just yet..." Pepper said, "More like aquaintences." She smiled a friendly smile. She was a little uncomfortable by his presence. She was afraid he would start something that wasn't needed. "So, how is your mom?" She asked, trying to start small talk.
"Ehh, same as always." He said, leaning back in his chair. "Well, I just came by to say hello. So I'll be going now." He added as he got up. "Maybe I'll see you around," He smiled. He walked away and off to who knows where.
"Yeah, See you around," Pepper mumbled as he got up. "Well, what the hell was that?" she thought to herself. They hadn't seen eachother for years, and now he decides to say something? Whatever, he's probably going to wait another few years to say anything else. Jasper was always that way. He didn't talk to many people that were outside his house. She knew that, but it was a little weird. [/color]
